Wk 2 ( 2017 - 18 ) That Was The Week That Was

Alonso scores two at Wembley against Spurs
For Arsenal, although the season is still young, their problems are quite old.
Another defeat against Stoke City, their defence must be concerning Bould.
A rampant Man Utd are setting the pace again scoring four, away from home.
Liverpool struggled again without Coutinho, they're still hoping he wont roam.
West Ham lose and finally grasp the nettle by putting Andy Carroll up for sale
Could he go back to Tyneside where Rafa and Ashley are relating a sorry tale?
More Wembley woes for Tottenham although in truth they played quite well.
But Chelsea's Marcus Alonso took his chances as at the final hurdle they fell.
Everton fielded a mostly young English team and almost took all three points
Against a strong Man City who constantly pressed until they found breakpoint.
Both Merseyside teams had a good week in Europe progressing to the Group stage.
They look good when they play their strongest teams all singing from the same page.
It was Everton fans who were really pleased and they certainly had good reason
Because they witnessed Gylfi Sigurdsson score possibly 'Goal of the Season'.
Zlatan agreed a new 1 year deal at Man Utd, He says he's 'back to finish what he started'.
But where does that leave the likes of Lingard & Martial or will they soon be departed?
