Week 11 That Was The Week That Was

Many thought he was the right man
The big talking point was at Goodison where Koeman was sent packing
It seemed to be a surprise to him but we all knew where he was lacking.
Good young players with those he bought where played out of position.
A lack of bonding with the crowd & club gave so much ammunition.
There's lots of names in the frame as to who should take Koeman's place,
Perhaps the fans choice would be the one who is already working at the face.
Sacked 'big names' such as Mourinho, van Gaal, McClaren, Advocaat prove,
That all appointments are a gamble, so what have Everton got really to lose?
Back to the league and it wasn't just Everton who had such a bad weekend.
Klopp's defence of Liverpool's sieve of a defence surely now has to end.
Watford gave Chelsea a fright at The Bridge, is Conte 'walking the line'?
Mark Hughes and Slaven Bilic also must be afraid of owners calling 'time'.
It was in 1952, 65 years ago, that Huddersfield last beat Manchester United.
That changed on Saturday, their first win in 7 games, getting their fans excited.
As for Man City they just go on and on, with some saying the title theirs already.
Held to pens by Wolves in midweek, Pep blamed the ball, let's not get too heady!
The EFL Cup through up unusual results, Everton & Spurs not quite there
But looking at the sides most teams put out it seems most couldn't care.
Having sacked Ranieri and Shakespeare, Leicester now turn to Claude Puel.
But Southampton sacked him for his negative style, or was that a little cruel?
