Week 17 That Was The Week That Was

Part of  'The Magnificent 7'
Man Utd and Liverpool's style is now based on the counter attack
Which would now seem to have replaced the 'old fashioned' tiki-taka.
When it works and the goals are flowing everyone is obviously pleased
But when it doesn't and play is laboured it's hard for fans to be appeased.
Arsenal and Man Utd involved in one of the games of the season so far
Saw two teams with differing styles but a ref who deserved ' no cigar'.
A week ago Spurs and Everton were lying at opposite ends of the table
But confidence has now seen one coming good and one to look unstable.
Sterling's simulated dive against West Ham attempted to fool the referee.
Was he booked or did he get a retrospective ban? Of course not it's Man City!
Man Utd and Chelsea qualified but it was a struggle on Tuesday night.
The media can't convince us about Lukaku as a striker, try as they might.
With Spurs, Liverpool and Man City on Wednesday all following suite
The 1st time we have five teams in the last 16, a quality you can't dispute.
Everton playing with a 'youth team' and Arsenal playing with their reserves
Won 3-0 and 6-0 respectfully with both wins undoubtedly well deserved.
