Week 22 That Was The Week That Was

FA Cup week started with a hard fought Merseyside derby as Blue faced Red.
A 'penalty?' won it for the Reds but there could be trouble for Firminho ahead.
With Couthino off to Spain and Mane looking burnt out the Fab 4 is down to two.
Stoke sack Mark Hughes after their defeat by Coventry, a dismissal long overdue!
Everton sign Cenk Tosun from Turkey with Kevin Mirallas going the other way.
They also sell Barkley to Chelsea which means there's not that much more to pay.
Both Barkley and Couthino 'excited by new challenge' give the old fans their 'Thanks'.
But all they're really bothered about is the fact that there's more money in their banks!
Conte and Mourihno continue their feud as each press conference takes a new twist.
They are like two 'naughty boys in the playground' who just need a slap on the wrist.
Leicester City without Vardy found it tough going and Fleetwood were the better team
Chelsea were similar against Norwich where their strong team just run out of steam.
Wenger was accused of arrogance as his weakened team weren't good enough on the day.
Forest deserved their win as Arsene serving a 3 match ban watched from above in dismay.
The VAR system was introduced in two Cup ties but there were few occasions for its use.
So how effective it will be or stoppages too frustrating for fans is still difficult to deduce.

" Have you ever watched The Godfather, Jose?"
