Week 27 That Was The Week That Was

Eyes down then straight down the Tunnel
The Etihad - a short poem.

''Sarri, Sarri Night, see the pitch Light Blue and Grey
With eyes that know the darkness in my soul".....
They would not listen, They did not know how.
(That's the trouble) - Perhaps they'll listen now."

So Man City survived a troublesome week fixture wise
But Liverpool are still with them despite a 'false' demise.
Everton again lost out to a disputed goal, the story of their season
Zouma dismissed after the game finished for no apparent reason.
Spurs keep winning without the support of injured Alli and Kane
Man Utd enter the top four after winning away at Fulham once again.
Rafa Benitz is the latest to question another arguable refereeing decision.
He felt the last minute challenge on his keeper was completed with derision.
PSG came to Old Trafford depleted without Neymar and Edinson Cavani,
But they dominated and won the tie, bursting the bubble of Ole's Red Army.
Son was shining at Wembley but Jan Vertongen was the Man of the Match.
Surely a 3-0 lead is something Borrusia Dortmund will struggle to catch.
Chelsea and Arsenal didn't fare well in the Europa against lowly opposition
But with the next legs at home they will surely end in a much stronger position.

We had the death of Gordon Banks, Pele called him 'a goalkeeper with magic'
Losing also Sala, Fred Pickering and Ian Ross in such a short time is really tragic.
R.I.P.
