Week 34 That Was The Week That Was

What's the point of VAR?
Following on from last week's trend Liverpool went top again
But it wasn't easy against the Saints, are they showing the strain?
Man City and Watford won their semi-finals, but Wolves were unlucky.
Brighton lost by the one goal but the best you can say is 'they're plucky'.
VAR was called upon to clarify a few incidents that were under dispute.
But the results that they came up with many felt were still under repute.
Everton disposed of Arsenal quite easily continuing their good run of form.
But reports state it's rather that their opponents are performing below 'norm'?
Deulofeu and Hazard score goals which are surely contenders for Goal of the Season.
Begging the question 'why did Koeman freeze the Spaniard out for no apparent reason'?
Although Liverpool cruised past Porto at home, did the VAR system act in their favour?
A penalty against Alexander-Arnold and a Salah red card could have been Porto's saviour.
Spurs beat Man City but a bad Kane injury could have put paid to the rest of their campaign.
His tackle on Delph turned out worse for him and it was obvious Delph was not to blame.
For all the pundits tried to play them up, Man Utd in the end had no shots on goal.
Having now to go to Barcelona and score at least two puts Man Utd in a bit of a hole.
Arsenal, like Liverpool, look comfortable taking a two goal lead with them to Italy.
Alonso secured victory for Chelsea away leaving an all London final still a possibility.
