Week 39 That Was The Week That Was

' You're my Wonderwall'
Well the Premier league season finished with Manchester City at the top
It was a case of 'nearly there' once more, for bridesmaid Jurgen Klopp.
They both did what they needed to do and not relying on the other side.
Although it seemed ironic that Liverpool's final goal was once again 'offside'.
We learnt that Mo Salah is not a one season wonder finishing as leading scorer.
Also that Mourinho was correct when he said Man Utd's mentality was poorer.
Chelsea's manager Maurizio Sarri is not as bad as others may make him seem.
Finishing 7th, Wolves are proving, under Nuno Espirito, they're a very good team.
Fulham, like Everton under Koeman, have proved that money doesn't solve things.
A not good enough squad, Burnley proved, European qualification misery brings.
It's Aston Villa v Derby in the play off final although both the losers made it hard.
So entering the Premier League next year will it be John Terry or Frank Lampard?
